Children’s Shelter
Vulnerable “street boys” between the ages of 6 – 20, who as a result of breakdown in the society and displacement by unrest find themselves alone, homeless, and trying to survive on the violent streets.
Through a church grant, we were able to help support a faith-based shelter providing: a feeding center, a safe place to sleep, and the support to learn about God’s love and receive personal care. The shelter currently helps 40 boys.

South Sudan Women Training program
Women are especially disadvantaged. They receive less schooling. Living in poverty, some of the women engage in vices or come from broken homes. They need some way to break the cycle of poverty.
The skills training center teaches the women how to make a living through sewing services. They learn to be self-sufficient.
The center needs more sewing machines, sewing materials, and cloth. Education is provided by volunteers, but they would like to get have a paid teacher.
